According to Lake Mary police department and Zimmerman's attorney, Don West report that George Zimmerman suffered minor injuries in a shooting incident in Lake Mary on Monday afternoon. Zimmerman's attorney Don West said a bullet just missed George Zimmerman's head, but he was sprayed with glass from his vehicle's windshield and other debris. A short video showed a bullet hole in the window on passanger side of the car George Zimmerman was in. Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell said the shooting incident may have been connected to an "ongoing dispute" involving Zimmerman and another person. The shooting involving George Zimmerman and another man that happened on Lake Mary Blvd. about 12:45 p.m., according to Police. Attorney Don West said George Zimmerman has been released from the hospital. “He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” said witness Ricardo Berrare. "They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door." According to a CNN report, Zimmerman apparently suffered a minor gunshot wound or injury from the realted shot, CNN affiliate WESH-TV reported, citing the police chief.'I shot George Zimmerman, call 911'. An employee at a nearby business, Kenneth Cornell, said he was exiting his car after lunch when a man drove up and started yelling about the shooting. The man shouted to Cornell: "I shot George Zimmerman, call 911. I don't have a phone." Cornell said the man didn't know whether Zimmerman was hurt. He called 911. According to Cornell, the man told him that he and Zimmerman have had three disputes. This time, Zimmerman waved a gun and the man shot at him, according to Cornell. Police arrived minutes after he called 911, Cornell said. Police have not verified Cornell's account of this story.
